Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic Position
We are currently hiring a full-time Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic for our Las Vegas shop. The right candidate will have hands-on experience working with heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
This position is essential to the safety and reliability of our customers’ vehicles. You’ll play an important role in keeping their trucks running efficiently and their businesses moving forward.
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, including PM services, brake repairs, air bags, hydraulics, electrical systems, and A/C repairs.
- Conducting DOT inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Assisting with tire service, lifting, and other physical aspects of the repair process as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience as a diesel truck or trailer mechanic.
- Knowledge of air brake systems, shocks, struts, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting preferred.
- A clean DMV motor vehicle report (required, as we also provide 24-hour roadside assistance).
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- A reliable, team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
This position offers the chance to work on a variety of vehicles, from local delivery trucks to long-haul semis. We’re looking for someone who can handle responsibility, solve problems independently, and take pride in doing the job right.
